For over 20 years I have been involved in overseeing numerous photo and video shoots.  Responsibilities include determining the purpose of the shoot, what is needed, selecting a photographer, styling the details and model and props selection.

When approaching a photo shoot project, the first question I ask is “What is the purpose of this photo?”  Knowing what it will be used for helps the photographer determine the angle, lighting and set-up.  Every picture tells a story.  Is this for advertising, emails, websites, multi-purpose?  With the amount of resources that goes towards each photo shoot, it is imperative the pictures represent the company and portray the emotional message.
